Abstract

Data integration between CRM and billing systems is important because customer records, service usage, subscription details, invoices, payments, discounts, and account status must remain consistent across business operations. CRM systems usually manage customer profiles, sales interactions, service requests, and contract details, while billing systems process charges, invoice generation, payment tracking, and revenue records. When these systems are not properly integrated, organizations may face duplicate customer records, incorrect invoices, delayed billing, payment mismatches, poor customer service, and reporting errors. This article focuses on data integration between CRM and billing systems by examining customer data mapping, API-based exchange, data validation, synchronization rules, error handling, reconciliation, and audit tracking. The study discusses how structured integration can improve data accuracy, reduce manual correction, support faster billing cycles, and strengthen customer account management. The article concludes that effective CRM-billing integration improves operational efficiency, protects revenue accuracy, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports reliable enterprise data management.
